Esme Trevelyan BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, BSc (Hons) Acupuncture, Qualified Sports massage therapist
Chartered Physiotherapist Esme Trevelyan graduated from Bath University with a BSc Honors degree in physiotherapy in 1997 and has worked as a physiotherapist both in the NHS and private sector specialising in musculoskeletal disorders.
In 2009 Esme graduated with a BSc Honors degree in Acupuncture from The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading. Since then she has spent time in China completing post graduate studies at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was recently awarded a distinction in her Masters study of Chinese Medicine from Middlesex University in 2011.
As a chartered physiotherapist and qualified acupuncturist Esme offers a hands on approach to treatment using either physiotherapy or acupuncture alone or an integrated approach, using a combination of both physiotherapy and acupuncture to treat a range of disorders including:
- Running and Sports Injuries
- Back, neck and shoulder pain
- Sprained joints
- Sciatica and trapped nerves
- Migraines and Headaches
- Stress and anxiety
- Digestive disorders such as IBS, constipation, bloating
- Poor immunity
- Menstrual disorders, irregular cycle, painful periods, absence of periods, heavy periods
- Menopausal symptoms, hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes
Esme is a keen marathon runner and recently completed the London 2012 marathon in 3hrs 26mins.
Esme works at The Ludgate Clinic on Thursdays from 07.30 – 16.00.
The Ludgate Clinic is registered with all health insurance providers including BUPA and AXAPPP.
