Oseopathy is a physical therapy using a wide variety of treatment techniques such as soft tissue stretching, massage and gentle mobilisation to increase the health of muscles, tendons and ligaments and to improve the mobility of joints.

When you visit an osteopath for the first time a full case history will be taken and you may be asked to remove some of your outer clothing. The osteopath uses active movements and palpation to identify any points of weakness or excessive strain through musculo-skeletal system and may send you for addintional tests such as blood tests or X-rays if necessary.
