Osteopathy, which is complimetary to orthodox medicine,is a system of diagnosis and physical treatment, which lays it's main emphasis on the structural and functional integrity of the Body.

It is distinctive by the fact that it recognises that much of the pain and diability we suffer stems from abnormalities in the function of the body structure as well as damage caused to it by disease.

Osteopathy was founded in America in the 1800s by Andrew Taylor Still with the first college in the UK(The British School of Osteopathy) being set up in London in 1917.
